OCT 25 - DEC 19, 2008: THE PRICE OF FREEDOM

“The Price of Freedom,” a multi-media exhibition curated by Jeanne Brasile, has its opening reception on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 5-7pm at City Without Walls (cWOW) main gallery on 6 Crawford Street, Newark, NJ. The reception is part of the 2008 Newark Open Doors festivities. The Newark Arts Council is sponsoring free shuttle buses between Newark Penn Station and cWOW for opening night. The exhibition remains on view through December 19, 2008 and is free and open to the public Wednesdays through Fridays 12-6pm and Saturdays 1-6pm. Directions

“The Price of Freedom” examines the nature and agency of democracy, freedom and human rights, all of which are especially relevant during this presidential election season.
