NOVEMBER 14 - DECEMBER 20: METRO 25 GALA & SHOW
Twenty-five years of City Without Wall's Metro Show will be celebrated at gala event on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Newark Club, One Newark Center, 22nd Floor, Newark, NJ. The night’s festivities include entertainment, auction, dinner. Honorees include artist Ben Jones, Newark Councilwoman Dana Rone, and The Prudential Foundation. Honorary Co-Chairs include Emma Amos, Bill Dane, Clement A. Price, and Mary Sue Sweeney Price. Committee Co-Chairs are Dennis Hull, Vivian McDuffie. Ticket price: $125 per person.The following night “METRO 25” opens! Juried by Heather Darcy (Mixed Greens Gallery), Erin Donnelly (Lower Manhattan Cultural Council), and Carlo McCormick (Paper Magazine), METRO 25's opening reception will be on Thursday, November 15, 2007, 6-8pm at City Without Walls. The exhibition marks the 25th anniversary of cWOW’s juried travelling small works show. Show dates and location: November 15 – December 20 at cWOW, 6 Crawford Street, Newark, NJ. Free and open to the public Wednesday through Friday 12-6pm and Saturday 1-6pm. The show travels throughout New Jersey during 2008.
